You Might Need A Personal Trainer If…

How do you know if you need a personal trainer? Hi, my name is Britt Morrison and I am a NASM certified personal trainer and I have found 4 reasons why you need a personal trainer in your life! You might need a personal trainer if:

  • You lack motivation to workout on your own

Lacking motivation to workout is one of the biggest issues people have with just getting started on a workout regime. When you hire a personal trainer, you are then COMMITTED to training with them! Personal trainers cost money, and no one wants to waste money so hiring a personal trainer can be a form of motivation for you because you are paying for that service.

  • You don’t have a workout plan

“Failure to plan is a plan to fail.” You need a plan! If you do not have a plan when you go into the gym, you will find yourself distracted, not knowing what to do, or doing the same things over and over. In order to get the best results, you need to have a plan in place involving the entire body. A personal trainer will create a training plan for you and make sure that you are executing that plan in order to get the best results and correct any imbalances in your body.

  • You don’t know how to exercise with proper form

Proper form is very important so that you do not get injured while exercising. A personal trainer will help you maintain proper form and help you learn how to exercise safely. If you get injured, that will set your health goals back until you can heal, so ensuring that you are exercising safely is very important!

  • You want accountability

This is the #1 reason people hire a personal trainer. People need accountability. Accountability goes hand-and-hand with motivation. Scheduling a fitness consultation and booking sessions with a personal trainer will help to keep you ACCOUNTABLE. You will be expected to show up and put in the work to get the results you want!

I myself, have been someone who thought I could do it all on my own and kept moving through the years with little to no results. If I had hired a personal trainer earlier in my fitness journey, I would have saved myself a lot of time, tears, and terrible fad diets. Take the leap, find a personal trainer near you that can help you with all of the above.
